Stearic Acid

Stearic acid, one of the most common fatty acids including of saturated long-chain fatty acid with an 18-carbon backbone, is found mainly in animal derivatives and vegetable fats. It is used in cosmetics, personal care products, fragrance ingredients, surfactants and emulsifiers. It is also used as the foundation for the production of esters which are used as emulsifiers, emollients and lubricants.
